Angie Dickson, R.N., Ph.D.
Dr. Dickson is a licensed clinical psychologist who earned her Ph.D. in 1989 from the Professional School of Psychological Studies in San Diego, California and received her license as a clinical psychologist in 1991. She received her Master of Science Degree from the University of California, San Francisco, graduating as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Oncology. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Texas in 1977. She received neurofeedback training from the EEG Spectrum in 2006.

Dr. Brodeske is a licensed psychologist in clinical practice, and owner of Care Psychological Services, Inc. She received her masters and doctorate degrees from the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University in San Diego. Dr. Brodeske has a diverse background in the assessment and psychological treatment of adults and children. She has worked with multi-disciplinary staff members in private practice, non-profit, and government agencies.
She has treated adults and families coping with major life transitions and changes that may be experiencing anxiety, depression, and grief. She also conducts psychological evaluations of individuals who are contemplating weight loss surgery (gastric bypass and lap band).
Dr. Brodeske has had extensive experience in the area of children with special needs and their caregivers. She worked for many years in a residential treatment facility for children who were victims of abuse and neglect, and dependents of the Court. Most recently, she received more extensive training and experience in Attachment Therapy at Attachment Center West in Santa Ana, California.
She also worked for over four years as a behavior specialist who collaborated with a multidisciplinary team of occupational therapists, speech pathologists, teachers, and physical therapists in a parent participation program for toddlers and preschool age children with developmental delays and behavior challenges.
She has designed and implemented treatment interventions for children with a variety of diagnoses, including: autism, anxiety disorder, attention deficit disorder (ADHD), oppositional defiant disorder, reactive attachment disorder, depression, childhood onset bipolar disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, pervasive developmental disorder, Down Syndrome, and various learning disabilities. She has taught seminars on behavior strategies for challenging children to both parents and professionals. She is also a parent of a child with autism.
